I like the Candy theme and using istop motion to bring fun candy elements into the music video, it suits the rock/pop genre. I think it's a good idea to cross cut with performance but I am wondering how the two can be linked...could the candy animation somehow appear in the performance video? Also what different backgrounds will be playing behind the band...will these represent a candy theme too? I think there are some good images on the ppt to help visualise the theme however it does lack detail and there is a good base of an idea but it is not fully developed and more thought needs to go into it to become a finished pitch. Also how will the feminist theory be applied? The target audience is clear but could the costume be reworked to be more unique or reflect more of the candy/pop element?
I like the idea of using the candy theme to link back to the star persona, for example'Twirl', which is the name of the band could also mean the chocolate 'Twirl'. And that the linking the theme with the costumes is also a good idea, like the knee high socks, which resembles the candy cane pattern.
In addition, I like the idea of using candy to illustrate the lyrics, through I-stop motion.
However, do you have any idea of where you might film (Location???)
